If you’re like us, you are probably running a little short of good news stories these days. Sure, you can search the internet for funny animal videos, but there are only so many of those that you can watch in a 24-hour period. Nancy’s tolerance is clearly higher than mine – I’ve asked her to use her headphones, or at least mute the sound. (send Nancy a private note if you want to cross-check which animal videos that she’s found – I don’t need to be in the loop on that one!)

So, onto the story. Don’t worry; the person in the photo below is not the second coming of Hannibal Lector.

Rather than Hanibal, the photo is of David Billstrom, the CEO of Kitsbow. You may remember that we are “brand ambassadors” for Kitsbow cycling gear. David and his team were asked to help with covert-19 (or is that covid-19?). Virtually overnight they have turned their North Carolina bicycle clothing factory into a reusable face mask factory. First items have come off the production line and are in route to Oregon and North Carolina as we speak.

Thank you David, and the Kitsbow team. We are proud to be affiliated with you guys. Everyone hopes that you won’t have to make masks for months on end, but we are glad to know that people like you are jumping in…
